Deshaun Watson scheduled an appointment at this licensed massage therapist’s Houston office Oct. 19, 2020, around 11:30 a.m., this woman's lawsuit said.
It was one of two massages Watson had that day, according to litigation filed by two women. It's unclear which massage happened first.
The 11:30 a.m. massage started out as routine as Watson undressed and covered himself with draping sheets on a table, the massage therapist's lawsuit said.
But then he asked if he could take the sheets off “so he could be naked,” the suit said.
The woman thought this request was “strange” and it’s not clear if she agreed.
When she started massaging Watson’s back, he told her he wanted her to focus on his lower back, glutes and hamstrings instead.
As she worked on his glutes, “Watson continued to ask that she ‘go deeper,' ” the suit said. He then asked her to massage the inside of his legs near his genitals, the suit said. That made the woman uncomfortable, so she worked on the outside of Watson’s legs hoping to avoid the issue.
But Watson “kept asking” her to go inside his legs, the suit said. The woman finally agreed but used her elbows to massage. Watson “insisted that she use her hands,” the suit said.
She declined. When Watson turned over on the massage table, his penis fully exposed, the suit said.
Watson again told the woman to work inside his legs and “to ‘go further’ and to use her hands,” the suit said.
When she refused, Watson told her he would pay extra, the suit said, adding “‘Don’t worry no one is going to know.' ”
This time when she refused, Watson “grabbed (her) hand and made her touch his penis,” the suit said.
The woman pulled back and refused.
It’s not clear how the massage ended, but the suit said the woman “felt violated, disgusted, ashamed and used.”
Another woman suing Watson said she gave him a massage the same day.
Watson has denied all allegations and said any sexual contact between him and women was consensual.
In a court filing, Watson’s defense attorneys said this woman and two others suing Watson had more therapy sessions with the quarterback than they included in their complaints.
“Presumably, these (women) minimized their interactions with Mr. Watson because these facts undermine their allegations,” the filing said.
